ACE ANNOUNCES NEW EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR:
STEPHANIE F. MEINCKE
FUNCTIONAL SUMMARY
Nonprofit management successfully built and led two statewide organizations from the ground up resulting in increased programming for child abuse prevention, volunteer service and civic engagement
Community Relations highly skilled in directing community and public relations, advocacy and marketing campaigns such as Never Shake a Baby, Legislators on Call, One Voice, five child abuse prevention month and two social marketing campaigns; coordinated the Healthy Families Florida association and the legislative expansion of the $15 million program
Resource development - most recently obtained $25 million (over 4 years) in grant funded programs for the AR Department of Health; experienced in all aspects of resource development including individual giving, corporate and foundation support, fee for service and membership support; responsible for federal, state and local grant writing and resource development; currently manage a grants management portfolio of more than $8 million in health programming
Program development and supervision developed and managed volunteer and national service programs such as AmeriCorps, Learn & Serve, The Parent HelpLine and Parent Support Group Network; developed program and training manuals, quality assurance standards, data collection and management as well as evaluation programs
Higher education established association of higher education presidents focused on service-learning and civic engagement; adjunct instructor at two universities for social work and nonprofit management disciplines
Youth Development developed programming for K-12 students in the areas of child abuse, literacy, citizen service, service-learning and college access; served as volunteer civic educator for grades 3-5
