Bruce Cole, Partner with Baker Tilly Virchow Krause, LLP, has been with the firm since

22 years working for two of the largest accounting, auditing, and consulting firms in the
world. Eleven of those years were spent as a partner and nine of those years were spent
serving as a national accounting and auditing consulting partner. As an auditor and
consultant, Bruce served many Fortune 500 companies in the manufacturing and high -
technology sectors. He also served as the chief financial officer for a publicly held light
manufacturing company and a health care company.
Specific experience
W hile at Ernst & Young served LTV Steel, one of the largest steel making companies
in the world; Vought Aerospace, formerly known as LTV Aerospace & Defense, a
multibillion dollar defense company specializing in weapons delivery systems, stealth
bombers, military transport planes and cruise missiles; Wilson Foods, the largest
pork processor in the country; Redman Homes, the second largest manufactured
housing company in the US; and Braniff Airlines.
Specializes in SEC work. As one of his former firm s national accounting and auditing
partners reviewed all registration statements to be filed by clients within the firm s
southwestern region. Submission of all registration statements to the SEC were
subject to his approval.
Significant expertise in the areas of manufacturing, aerospace and defense, high -
technology, airlines, real estate investment trusts, and the use of LIFO ac counting for
inventories.
Provides consulting and expert support for attorneys representing international
business corporations in various matters including going concern considerations,
contractual disputes, liquidity matters, and deviations from GAAP and GAAS.
Experienced in providing testimony in both domestic and international courts.
Set national and international policy on accounting and auditing standards.
Served on numerous internal quality control review teams.
Served as a conference leader and lecturer on accounting, auditing, and reporting
issues.
Responsible for quality control in one of his former firm s southwestern region which
