has over a quarter-century of senior-level political campaign, public affairs and professional industry experience. Since 1986, Bob has been CEO of a political consulting, government and public affairs firm.

Nationally networked with public officials, corporate executives, activists and journalists, Bob has served on over 100 national, state and local political campaigns. In the 2010 mid-term elections his firm ran The Speaker Education Project in 43 congressional districts across 23 states. He has also held leadership roles in Jack Kemp for President, Phil Gramm for President, Mark Amodei for Senate, and Pete Wilson for Senate and Governor of California.

His firm has developed and run sophisticated grassroots advocacy campaigns in nearly every state.

IN 2011 Bob ran an independent expenditure on behalf of Gov. Rick Perry of Texas.

Bob has led public affairs programs for several fortune 500 companies in the Pharmaceutical, Land Use, Energy, Utility, Retail and Consumer Products Industries. He has advocated on behalf of clients on the local, state and federal levels.

He has helped companies establish Political Action Committees (PACs) and has worked with companies to develop programs to increase employee participation.

What began as a subsidiary of the parent company conducting polling and phone based projects The Schuman Group, spun off Contact America, which became an insurance call center. Bob served as CEO and Chairman of the Board eventually selling the company to IDT a NYSE listed company.

While building a successful nine-year career in the brokerage business, in which he was the youngest branch manager in the history of Sutro & Company, the oldest investment-banking firm west of the Mississippi, he balanced an active career in politics. Politically active since college, Bob helped elect the Governor of Iowa, and ran municipal campaigns for the Republican Party in Illinois.

Bob was a member of the California Electoral College, Chairman of the San Diego County Republican Party, President of the California Young Republicans and Chairman of the Young Republican Leadership Conference. He also served as a committee member for the San Diego County Board of Supervisors. He was named by San Diego Magazine as one of the people to -watch- and was described as -The man who could be anything-.

Bob has been active in both industry and community including the Chamber of Commerce, the American Association of Political Consultants, and the Holiday Bowl. He has also has served on numerous non-profit boards and committees. He founded First Friday a local Public Affairs organization. Bob was awarded the JNF Tree of Life award for his efforts in coordinating the adoption of Jewish infants from the Soviet Union.

Bob holds a degree in Journalism from Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa and has done postgraduate work in Accounting and Economics. Bob, his wife Jane and their three children reside in La Jolla, California where they are active in local business, public education, city and county government, youth sports programs, their church and actively support the VFW, Salvation Army and Disabled Veterans.

Bob regularly speaks at political and business conferences and has been quoted in national newspapers, interviewed by most major television and radio networks and is frequently invited to comment, interview, debate and speak publicly on both industry and political issues. In the last month he has appeared on CNN, Fox News, MSNBC and Meet the Press.
