Accomplishments
Operation Monitoring
Watched indicators to make sure machines were working properly. While running the machines, I constantly look at monitor screens to keep an eye on everything that is going on; whether it be a "cross up" of the lumber or machine malfunction.
Testing
Inspected and tested machinery and equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions.
Process Improvement
Throughout my 9 years at Pine Products Inc., I've had several opportunities to make adjustments on the machine that I've operated to make production more efficient. The different ideas that I've had have been implemented, and have been successful in increased production.
Equipment Maintenance
Every machine that I run, I do the maintenance on it. If one of my machines break down, I fix it. From the smallest to the biggest breakdowns, I am expected to get it up and running. I do preventative maintenance on the machines also. I'm no stranger to a grease gun. I clean my machines and look for little problems that can cause big problems later and fix them.
Training
Being one of only two employees that can run every machine at Pine Products Inc., I've trained new employees on the different machines.
