WORK EXPERIENCE SUMMARY
Robert D. (Bob) Kiker has 46 years of oil and gas experience with 30 years in the CO2
arena, having installed Conoco s first CO2 flood in the Ford Geraldine Field in 1980.
Bob is a thirty-year veteran of Conoco, retiring in 1994 to assume the position of
Executive Vice President of the Permian Basin Petroleum Association. He elected to
resign that position on February 1, 1998, and formed Robert D. Kiker Inc. to pursue a
personal goal as a consultant in operating and regulatory practices for the oil and gas
industry.
Currently Bob is President of the Applied Petroleum Technology Academy (APTA),
which was formed in 1999 by Jim Henry of Henry Petroleum to provide technology
education to international students wishing to learn Permian Basin oil and gas
technology. APTA is now providing two CO2 schools annually, and special customized
CO2 schools for others.
Bob also in 1998 became the Petroleum Technology Transfer Council (PTTC) Permian
Basin Director, developing and providing numerous technology workshops for the oil and
gas industry throughout the United States.
Recently Bob was selected to be on the Small Producer Advisory Group for the new
Research Partnership to Secure Energy for America (RPSEA), working with New
Mexico Tech s group.
Bob is currently on the Petroleum Professional Development Center (PPDC) advisory
board that is a training organization sponsored by Midland College, for oil and gas
technology.
