and BASIS, SAP installation, Client copy, Transportation, Backup, Profile generation, SAP DBA and Users administration were covered as part of this training.

Partial Client Copy

According to the requirement of the PP-group the rows are selected for the work center and the routing tables using the transaction SE30, CA03 and CR03. Through create request transaction (SE01) the request is created in client 030. In addition, through the transaction (SE09) the tables are included in a request. Here the filter conditions for the table rows are specified. In client 090 (target client), the partial client copy is run for copying the rows from source client 030 to the logged on client.

DIALOG PROGRAMS (ABAP/4)

BDC Wizard:

This program accepts the user name, transaction and input file name, and validates those in the system. In the second step it accepts the input file format (fields and its length). The next unlimited number of steps accepts the program name, screen number and the corresponding fields for that screen. Then it generates an ABAP/4 BDC program for that transaction.

Request And Issue Of Accessories:

Requisitions from various departments entered on line for floppies, printers, printer ribbons, printer cartridges etc., are accepted by the system through an electronic signature of the user. The system produces the report for the next designated number of days required for the whole division. The program also handles the issue of items to the users with a security check.

SAP SCRIPT & LAYOUTS

Printing Stores Order:

This program accepts the plant, work centers, storage locations, start date and end date as input parameters and prints the stores order in the particular official format. The detail part of the order contains serial number, material code, material description, storage location, storage location description, unit of measure, quantity required, quantity in stock, quantity to issue. This involves finding the tables used by the system and appropriate printer adjustments.

Printing Purchase Order:

By running the program RSTXR3TR the layout set is imported from the floppy and by running transaction SE71 it is copied to the current working client. Modification is done here according to the companys format. The company logo is attached to the P.O. by using the MACRO concept (saving the logo as TIFF file and run the program RSTXLDMC to convert it to a text).

NORMAL REPORTS

List of open purchase orders created with reference to the rate contract.

Record of all amendments to the rate contract.

List of items where stock level is below safety stock quality.

List of items received through project sites.

Work center wise inventory valuation.

INTERACTIVE REPORTS

Finding Tables and the Relations for a particular Transaction

This program takes the report produced through the transaction SE30 as input and reports all the tables used for that. Then it takes the program name and the dynpro number as input and finds out the names of the fields for that dynpro. It cross checks with the tables from transaction SE30 and suggests the table names of the corresponding fields for the transaction.
