U.S. DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE (DOJ)

NATIONAL DRUG INTELLIGENCE CENTER (NDIC), Johnstown, Pennsylvania (1995-2012)

The National Drug Intelligence Center, a former component of the U.S. Department of Justice, produced strategic domestic drug intelligence for the nation's counterdrug community; produced national, regional, and state drug threat assessments; and provided real-time support to law enforcement and intelligence communities by conducting document and computer exploitation for materials associated with counterdrug and/or counterterrorism investigations.

Assistant Director Secretary (1998-2012)

Provided administrative support to the Assistant Director, Intelligence Support Division; the Special Assistant, Intelligence Support Division; the Reasonable Accommodation Coordinator; the Chief, Technical Services Branch; and the entire 36-person Technical Services Branch.

This Dictionary was lauded by the Director as being the first complete, easy-to-use guide for preparing performance plans and conducting effective performance appraisals and for ensuring standardization throughout the hiring process.

*Edited and updated the Correspondence Guide (established protocols for all internal and external correspondence); the NDIC Occupant Emergency Plan (covered 180,000 square feet of building space), and the Emergency Phone Tree (a complete list of names and emergency contact information for all employees).

*Developed, presented, and implemented a proposal to the American Red Cross to conduct on-site blood drives. Based upon my proposal, four times a year coordinated the logistics for the blood drive (reserved/arranged the room, scheduled donors, obtained special refreshments, and worked the canteen during each event).

*Coordinated the yearly NDIC Food Drive.

Branch Chief Secretary (1995-1998)

Provided administrative support to the Chief, Collections Branch; four Unit Supervisors; and the entire 32-person Collections Branch.

*Composed routine correspondence and reviewed all correspondence and directives for clarity, consistency, accuracy, and compliance with organizational guidelines.

*Created an electronic correspondence log to safeguard proprietary and classified documents and to use as a quick tickler system to maintain the timeliness of document retrieval, storage, and destruction. This electronic system was implemented throughout the organization.

LEE HOSPITAL, Johnstown, Pennsylvania (1979-1995)

Unit Secretary (1992-1995)

Provided administrative support to the Ambulatory Surgery Diagnostic Unit. Scheduled surgical procedures.

*Ensured all patient charts were complete.
