Inventory Slotting Manager
-An integral part of a management team that established an 810,000 sq ft eCommerce Fulfillment Distribution Center from the ground-floor; including hiring and training of personnel; departmental development; and the management of over 120,000 SKU's (including Active Pick Module and Active Reserve). As roll-sleeves manager, I was required to direct and manage the efforts of Inventory Control associates who performed daily cycle counts, inventory audits, determined root causes of system discrepancies, re-slotted and packed-out all Pick Mod rejects, and cubiscanned all new inventory items for dimensional data. I used Excel, JDA/E3, and Manhattan WMS to determine minimum/maximum levels for inventory WAVE run replenishment; and ensured efficient warehouse space utilization by slotting inventory items in bay positions based on dimensions, slot volumes, and sales.
