Project Description

Insurance Web is a free service that makes it easier than ever to shop for and compare

quotes from the nation's leading insurance companies. With Insurance Web, you have the

tools you need to make intelligent insurance buying decisions at your fingertips.

Insurance Web operates an online insurance marketplace that enables consumers to shop

online for a variety of insurance products, including automobile, term life, homeowners,

renters and individual health insurance.

My responsibilities in this project included

Developing the high-level architecture document draft.

Responsible for designing and developing Component Diagram, Class diagrams and Use

Cases.

Developing SDK API for EJB, COM Services for Premium Calculator.

Personal Profile Create your Personal Profile. Unique Personal Profile feature allows

you to enter your personal data once and save it. The next time you visit Insurance Web,

you can easily retrieve your profile by simply entering your unique username and password.

Review your quotes. Some quotes will appear instantly online, while the insurance company

will deliver others, pending quotes, within several days. You will receive pending quotes

via email, phone or regular mail.

Privacy Policy auto, homeowners, renters, individual health and term life quote request

forms use the SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) protocol. With SSL, when you enter the Insurance

Web home page your information is encrypted as it travels betweenyour computer and our

servers. Encryption makes it exceedingly difficult for others to view your information.

Personalization is another option, which keeps track of all the customer

personalization. It also keeps track of customers RFQ. This is accomplished by allowing

each customer to login to the site. The login authentication is done by JSP by verifying

with backend security tables. Once verification is over it places back the cached

information. So here the customer enters the information only once. Next time he can edit

the information, which he entered previously.

Every user who has logged into the page will have a session running. Session variables

are efficiently used for the users context.

Database Design and Implementation in SQL-Server.

Setting up Automatic Response for customer inquiry

Guidelines Gives various guidelines about the insurance quotes.

Project: Internet Business Operating System (IBOSS) Version 2.0

Duration May 2001 August 2001 Role Team Lead

Weblogic5.1.0, LDAP Tools Visual cafe, Erwin 3.5.2, Together Control Center5.5, MS Project

2000

Platforms Windows2000/95 Database Oracle 8i,SQLServer.

Project Description

The scope of the project was to design and build an Engine, which is supposed to work in

conjunction with workflow engine in order to overcome major limitation of current Business

Process Management Systems (BPMS), which lacks in supporting dynamic workflow

modifications at runtime in order to provide sufficient flexibility to cope with

unexpected situations and failures. During workflow execution, the workflow engine

retrieves the BSD (Business Service Document) output from a business service, and forwards

that to the Relevance Engine for ongoing route evaluation. Based on the combination of

context elements and routing rules in that BSD, the relevance engine can determine the

future task list for that workflow, and forward the task list to the work flow engine for

their execution. This task list can be different from and overrides any existing process

plan.

Relevance engine allows participating business services to alter the workflow based on

business rules and unexpected situations.

My responsibilities in this project included

Developing the high-level architecture document draft.

Responsible for designing and developing Component Diagram, Class diagrams and Use

Cases.

Designing different capabilities in the Relevance Engine like Cache Manager, Session

Manager, re-XML Analyzer, Rule Evaluator and Connection Manager (JMS).

Incorporating Rule Based Process Plan to decide next Process pattern.

Integrating Relevance Engine with TIBCO Integration Manager.

JSP, JDBC, BEA Weblogic5.1.0, Erwin 3.5.2, Web Sphere 3.5, LDAP Tools Visual Cafe, TIBCO

Integration Manager, Together Control Center5.5.

Platforms Windows2000/95 Database Oracle 8i.

Project Description

The scope of the project was to built enterprise-class software product in response to

demand for an Internet software development platform that enables enterprises to leverage

their existing systems to create, or participate in, e-enabled business with their

employees, customers, partners and vendors (value-webs). This platform choreographs the

interactions of complex, diverse workflow processes necessary to operate within a value-

web, which often involve multiple enterprises, standards, computing languages and systems.

This product is an Internet operating system that registers and manages all the business

processes and rules necessary to operate within a value-web irrespective of each members

technology or standards. It is a step ahead of EAI and MOM. This product was developed on

Integration Manager and Rendezvous of TIBCO. The system architecture & design was

implemented by following leading industry standards like W3C, OAGIS, WFMC, ebXML and

OASIS.

My responsibilities in this project included

Responsible for setting the format for the BSD by analyzing the standards of OAGIS and

ebXML.

Developing SDK API for COM, EJB Business Services to integrate with IBOSS by analyzing

the standards of UDDI.

Exposing the API for building DOM by following the standards proposed by OAGIS.

Responsible for mapping different system services in J2EE EJB model.

Project Description

The scope of the project was to build a GUI on BPMS in order to provide the functionality

to create and instantly deploy enterprise-wide business processes in a drag-and-drop

environment without the knowledge of system-level interactions or interfaces. Workflow

Process Editor lets the Business Analyst to easily modify processes to meet changing

business requirements.

With the Workflow Process Editor, its possible to define and connect rules, activities,

sub-processes, conditions, assignments and service levels to represent an overall process

flow. Conditions offer the flexibility of enabling data-driven decisions. Service levels

let you implement time-dependent steps. During runtime, the system logs every event with a

time stamp.

My responsibilities in this project included

Responsible for Analyzing and Incorporating the MVC model for the entire GUI module.

Designed the table schema with normalization techniques using Erwin.

Responsible for designing the Relevance-XML Schema for configuration of dynamic

workflow process instance by following Leading industry standards like UDDI, WFMC.

Platforms Windows2000/95 Database Oracle 8i.

Project Description

The scope of the project was to develop an agent based infrastructure in order to

incorporate a development toolkit and interface specification to assist in the development

of intelligent custom IBOSS proxies for technologies that do not expose industry standard

interfaces .The I-Agent consists of a Router and distributed agent toolkit API. It

facilitates especially construction of agents that send and receive messages using XML. I-

Agent provides a template API for building agents that utilize a common high-level

language and protocol. A key idea is that even if no new autonomous agents are ever built,

agent technology provides glue" for composing legacy software. I-Agent provides standard

software for agent communications. XML and other agent protocols provide standards for

message exchange. Various process analysis systems can then provide guidance for the

composition of specific messages among the system agents.

My responsibilities in this project included

Responsible for designing and developing Component Diagram, Class diagrams and Use

Cases.

Responsible for designing and developing the GUI required for creation, configuration

and Monitoring I-Agent.

Responsible for developing APIs required for monitoring I-Agent remotely and linking

them to the GUI.
