maintain data of members and transactions are in File Maker Pro 3.0. The

project involves redesign of database, conversion of data to SQL-server 7.0 and

development of application system using Visual Basic 6.0.

Responsibilities include redesign database and convert

data existing in File Maker Pro system to SQL-server 7.0. Created stored

procedures on SQL-server to populate the normalized tables in the RDBMS. The

data in some of the larger tables were first loaded to Oracle database using

Oracle SQL-loader, formatted and converted by creating Oracle stored procedures

and then ported to SQL-server using the data transformation services of SQL-

customers of the banking organization residing on various source databases has

to be converted, formatted and ported to ASCII files. Oracle Market Manager

system uses this data on ASCII files and loads data to Oracle database tables.

This process has to be run every month so that the database will have updated

data at the beginning of each month. The data will be used by Oracle Market

Manager and a decision support system is made available to marketing personnel

etc.

The version of database is Oracle 8i 8.1.6 on HP Unix 11.0. Responsibilities

include analysis of data on source and destination using FOXPRO, SQL, PL/SQL
