SUMMARY:
I have my MA degree in Adlerian Counseling and Psychotherapy from Adler Graduate School in
Minnesota. I also am fully trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)
from the Trauma Institute/Child Trauma Institute which is approved by the EMDR International
Association (EMDRIA). EMDR is widely recognized as an effective trauma treatment.
Additional intensive workshops have also been completed to enhance skills in EMDR for
Trauma, PTSD and Dissociation. In addition I also am certified in Prepare/Enrich, which is a
program that works with couples in all stages of relationship. Other workshops to further
enhance skills as a therapist have been ASIST training, a workshop in suicide first aid and a
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) training workshop. Certifications at this time are: Licensed
Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (LAMFT) and soon Licensed Practical Counselor
(LPC).
