Jeff has served on the editorial staffs of three Christian
publishing companies.
From 1999 to 2001 he edited nonfiction for Multnomah Publishers.
During this time Jeff edited and wrote feature articles for
Countdown Y2K, a year-long newsletter by Shaunti Feldhahn. Jeff
acquired authors and articles and edited the magazine.
From 2003 to 2005 he managed the Siloam line of Christian health
books for Strang Communications.
During that time Jeff launched, the line of Christian speculative fiction at
Strang Communications.
From 2005 to 2006 Jeff served as manager over the fiction line at
NavPress.
Between his time at Multnomah and Strang, and after his time at
NavPress, Jeff has been a freelance editor, writer, and book doctor.

In addition to the projects listed, Jeff has performed editorial reviews,
partial edits, "first 10 pages" reviews, mentoring, and proposal
review and creation for scores of clients.

Jeff has published six
and two co-written nonfiction
books, which can be sampled on this site.
Jeff has also written scores of articles for Christian magazines,
including Christian Single, HomeLife, Life@Work, and
New Man
magazines.
Jeff's short fiction has appeared extensively in Focus on the
Family's Clubhouse magazine. He recently completed a
two-year stint as the writer for the comic book series in
Clubhouse magazine.
Jeff served as story manager for the made-for-DVD computer
animated film, G.I. Joe: SpyTroops.
Jeff has written dozens of puppet scripts, which have been
produced in his home church.
Jeff writes extensively about fiction writing on his Web page

Jeff is also a popular speaker at Christian writer's conferences.
He is a member of ChiLibris and the Academy of Christian Editors
(ACE).Education
Jeff holds the Bachelor of Science degree in Radio-TV-Film from
the University of Texas at Austin.
Jeff also holds the Master of Divinity degree from Southwestern
Baptist Theological Seminary.
