RESPONSIBILITIES - ACHIEVEMENTS

* Operations Leader responsible for production of liquid maple products from ranging from 8 oz. containers to 220 gallon totes. Works closely with a skilled manufacturing team in a fast-paced environment, always adapting to a changing workload and completing multiple tasks. Practice clear communications to ensure all tasks are completed in a timely manner within defined time and quality criteria. Supervise all preproduction, production, and post production processes ensuring quality standards.

* Work with the Quality Assurance department on third party and government compliance audits. Review and update on-going safety programs to minimize the potential for workplace accidents. Review and up date all SOP's, GMP's and all cleaning and sanitizing procedures. Work with warehouse personnel, maintenance, and purchasing to effectively and efficiently communicate the needs of the production and prioritize tasks.

* Operations Director working closely and collaboratively with senior management to set priorities and goals for production, labor budget and financial performance. Operate within an approved budget for all departments based on projected sales for the year. Work to identify and address problems in a timely manner. Plan for the company's on-going operational needs including staffing, technology, facility, and equipment. Monitor and enforce compliance and proper use of safety equipment

* Plant Manager responsible for all day to day operations including manufacturing plant, projects and company property. Managed staff of 25 including five department heads. Oversaw NSF, NOFA, Trader Joe's and annual OSHA's Project Work safe audits. Conducted ACT 250 and Wastewater Management Division applications and review.

* Responsible for maintenance operations of a 60,000 barrel a year brewery. Oversaw expansion projects including new brew cellar and related piping and equipment. Project manager for sub-contractors and new equipment installations.

* Built new production plant and installed equipment to mix, fill, cap, label and code salad dressings and salsa. Oversaw day to day operations. Implemented SOP's, GMP's and PM's for all equipment and processes. Implemented in-house testing of processed materials. Project managed the installation of new and used equipment.

* Produced hot sauces and condiments through Peppertree Packing, a small packaging facility in Waterbury Vermont until being acquired by Drew's All Natural.
