Work History

Burns Security - Security officer: Major duties were to patrol a local grocery store. To detect potential shoplifters. Deter potential shoplifters with a professional uniformed appearance. To report incidents by writing detailed reports. To apprehend shoplifters and process them according to the stores policies.- NV 3/93 to 7/94

Nevada Department of Prisons - Correctional Officer: Major duties were to maintain safety and security for staff as well as inmates throughout the institution. Conduct counts of inmates, pat search inmates for contraband not limited to weapons. Conduct sell searches of inmates. Escorted inmates to court and medical appointments outside of the institution. Worked in intake as an orientation officer for the new inmates arriving to the institution. Served on the advanced team when opening the new High Desert State Prison.

NV 11/94 to 8/03

Allied Security - Site Security Supervisor (Valley Hospital): Major duties were to patrol the hospital providing safety and security for the staff, patients and guests. Supervised 12 security officers. Created work schedules for the officers. Assisted the hospital staff in the psychiatric unit. Secured patient valuables in a safe for their stay at the hospital. Wrote and reviewed numerous reports of incidents. Trained Bike Patrol officers in parking lot procedures and hospitality to the guest and staff.

NV 8/04 to 6/06

U S Security Associates - Site Security Manager (Office Max Distribution Center): Major duties were to manage and train 22 security officers for 7 different posts throughout 3 warehouses. I created work schedules for the officers and was in charge of payroll. I acted as liaison between the client and US Security Associates. I was to ensure officers were trained properly by constantly running drills and tests. I made sure my officers were constantly observing the employees to avoid theft.

NV 6/06 to 2/07

US Security Associates - Loss Prevention Agent (Walgreens, Ross inc. and King Ranch Market): major duties were to patrol the store in plain clothes looking to apprehend shoplifters. Using the five elements ensuring no bad stops were made. I worked hand in hand with local law enforcement agencies with the apprehensions of suspects by writing detailed reports. I testified in court on behalf of the client.

Silver City Builders - Carpenter Apprentice: major duties were to refurbish and restore foreclosed bank owned homes. Which included masking off rooms in preparation for painting and painting using a spray rig, Replacing and restoring drywall, pulling up carpet,etc .

NV 5/09 to 12/09

One Stop Inc. - Auto Detailer/Landscaper: major duties were washing and detailing vehicles as well as boats using spot free water and waterless washes. Mowed lawns trimmed hedges, trees and bushes. Tools used: lawn mowers,chain saws, blowers, and vacuums.

NV 1/2010 to 8/2010

Integrity Staffing- Picker (Amazon.com): major duties were to pick product for orders to be packaged and sealed for shipping. I had to walk the warehouse searching for product, scan the product and place them on cart for packaging.
