Oversee the day-to-day operations of the OSU Operator Services office. This office answers the main OSU
telephone number, transferring callers to various departments/employees as needed.
Provide technical support for several legacy systems provided by OSU Information Technology (considered a
subject matter expert for many systems still in operation).
Manage multiple small scale (2 week or less in length) projects as assigned by the director of Technology
Support many in process at the same time.
Assigned to assess, manage, and resolve many unexpected issues within the Technology Support section.
Provide back-up support for other Technology Support managers as needed during vacations or rush periods.

Oversee the day-to-day operations of the 2nd Level Support Team (15 FTE).
Provide support assistance to the IT Help Desk in support related activities.
Manage the client-side aspects of on-going migration process from Novell/Notes to Active Directory/Exchange
Outlook environments.
Stay abreast of latest advancements in technology as it applied to the newer systems being migrated to within
the university.
Supervise the Computer Support Services program (commonly referred to as SLA). SLA duties range from
basic desk side support issues to network server administration duties.
Assist with second level support for Lotus Notes, Microsoft Office products and current student email system.
Coordinate the completion of various assignments as directed by the director of Technology Support.
Basic supervisory duties including hiring, performance evaluations and reports as needed to the director of
Technology Support.

Oversee the training and support duties of the five full time employees of the Training and Office Automation
group. Managed multiple training schedules and monitored the availability of the instructors.
Plan, initiate and supervise the Information Technology computer training program. This included reviewing new
course needs and renewing existing courses as needed. Oversaw review and selection of training materials
when in-house creation wasn t cost-effective.
W ork with each individual trainer to promote their particular training courses by directed mailings or general
campus distributions. Examine instructor reviews from students with instructors to assist with teaching
methods.
Coordinate training responsibilities for MS Office products, Lotus Notes, Student E-mail, and other software
related items as needed.

students. Also, worked closely with student computer lab supervisor to insure adequate classroom facilities
were available for classes as needed.
