I am very interested in a props department position on your current production. I have many

years of film industry experience and you will find that I will be a great addition to your props

department.

I have been working in props/set dec in various capacities for the last five years. I have the

experience as a builder, on-set lead, and property master. In 2004, I completed my Bachelor s

of Fine Arts from University of British Columbia Okanagan with a double major in Sculpture

and New Media. This diverse education allowed me to explore a multitude of directions and

has given me excellent fabrication skills as well as the hands on knowledge of the entire

filmmaking process. I carry traits from both veins into my work on-set, being able to

build/repair quickly and to predict upcoming scenarios.

As well, I am very computer literate, and can work accurately and efficiently. I have a

background in design as I worked part time as Print/Web artist for many years. I am a fluent

Photoshop user and can create printed props quickly. Prior to production work I managed a 5-

plex cinema, which provided me with excellent managerial and personnel skills. It also

prepared me with the accounting skills necessary to keep my department operating within the

allotted budget.
