AIDS hospice team. Developed Palliative Medicine Handbook for nurses and

physicians. Lectured to nurses, physicians, volunteers and community

organizations on palliative medicine, death & dying

physician. State-owned chronic care facility. Managed care of 45 chronically ill

residents. Organized a bereavement group for staff and patients. Provided

educational programs on pain control, bereavement, death & dying, and AIDS.

Hematology-Oncology Fellowship. Developed protocols for pancreatic and gastric

cancer. Originated BANHURT solution for the treatment of chemotherapy and

radiotherapy induced mucositis. Developed NOHURT for the treatment of

decubitus ulcers.
