Basic marine diesel engine theory and functionality using the Arthur Foss main engine. Focus of classes
was to overhaul all fuel injectors, testing psi and replacing into engine. Inspection of one piston, ring
replacement and reassemble. I aided instructor in both classes finishing tasks replacing injectors, push
rods, rocker arms, and cylinder head removal.
