Responsible for managing product quality of Genthermaaas Climate Controlled Seat (CCS) Systems for Asian and European automotive vehicle programs which include OEM customers such as Toyota, Hyundai Kia, Nissan, Land Rover, and Jaguar. Product quality is acheived through management and continuous quality improvement of Genthermaaas outsourced off-shore contract manufacturing suppliers. Duties include establishing supplier quality requirements, metrics i.e. FPY, DPPMaaas, conducting supplier training and performing on-site supplier manufacturing process audits to target areas for process improvements and cost reductions, driving root-cause identification activities including verification of Corrective Action (CAR) implementation and effectiveness, assure supplier compliance to all Gentherm as well as customer and regulatory quality requirements. Other duties include participation and support on new product development teams ensuring quality of design. Conduct review and approvals of supplier PPAP submissions assuring successful supplier launch of new products as well as verifying implementation of on-going product design changes to improve quality.
