"Lead teaching" experience in two senior English Literature classes for entire
internship year. Personally designed, planned, and taught both classes, with
mentor teacher available as a guidance and reflection resource.

Similar "lead teaching" experience in a semester-long creative writing course.
Team-taught two general ninth grade English classes as well as one mixed
grade introductory drama. Typically maintained three to four preps.
Attended faculty in-services on improving staff cooperation, numerous English
department curriculum meetings, and school-wide Michigan High School Proficiency
Test planning sessions.
Students included mainstreamed special needs (EI, LD, and ADD). Participated
in and contributed to numerous IEPC and STAT meetings.
