Communications Report to the Community and campus website; create and
present financial literacy curriculum to grades K-8 on behalf of Fox
Valley Savings Bank; produced news, features, solicitation letters and
programs for UW-Fond du Lac Foundation and Alumni Relations Office;
created Open Circle Unitarian Universalist congregation’s website
content and navigation, continued to update site content through March
2009; created trio of Healthy Food newsletters printed and distributed
by Fond du Lac Public School District.
November 2000-February 2007:
Pennsylvania and Wisconsin. Accredited La Leche League International
Leader, provided news releases and media contact, including
establishment and publicity for new WI group; news contact for Fond du
Lac Breastfeeding Network, 2005-2007.
2002-2004: Prospect Park, PA, Library. Produced numerous news releases highlighting library functions and services.
February 2000-August 2001:
Online Editor/Publication Assistant, Washington Association of
REALTORS, 504 E. 14th Ave., Olympia, WA 98507. Part-time position
planning, reporting, writing, photographing, and posting website news
content for 14,000-member professional organization. Additional writing
and editing of print publications; consultation with Director on
organization’s communications needs and issues. Work produced largely
via telecommuting from home office.
October 1999-October 2000:
Tacoma, WA, editorial services business, supplying clients with news
and feature articles, copy editing and proofreading services in varied
media.
January 1998-February 1999: Director
of Publications and Communications, Graduate School of Library and
Information Science, University of Illinois, Champaign, IL.
Directed and implemented top-ranked school's internal and external
