Relevant Experience
Responsible for the pick up of all repairs. Record and organize all customer and item information in log book. Assess and expedite all materials for needed repairs. Order all stones and stock materials for needed repairs and fabrication of stock pieces. Contact with customers in regards to information about specific repairs. Conduct all phases of repair and polishing all items for return to shop. Consult with Manager about any pieces needing immediate attention. Develop and create from rendered drawings pieces for stock and gallery floor. Work directly with Casting and Mold Making.
As a Silversmith teacher I guide students in the study of necessary techniques and skills required for the design and fabrication of student projects. Establish a set integrated curriculum. Manage time and use of tools. Monitor student work and recommend strategies to complete student pieces.
