* Managed the planning and execution of functional system testing and the UAT to upgrade PeopleTools to current version 8.49.

* Designed a robust custom-developed PeopleSoft application suite to enable profile-driven travel agency commissions and rebates.

* Stabilized the PeopleSoft Receivables month-end close procedures and production processing to increase collection performance.

* Defined the back-office interface requirements, reconciliation procedures, and user-acceptance tests to integrate the new supply chain suite into PeopleSoft Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and General Ledger. This enabled the implementation and delivered improved controls and reports.

10/1997 - 1/2001, PricewaterhouseCoopers, New York, NY

Principal Consultant, Financial Services Practice

* Managed a team of 18 to implement PeopleSoft GL, AP and AR at National Steel in South Bend, IN. According to National Steel's CFO, "This Project has been the smoothest implementation in National Steel's History".

* Managed a team of three to Design and Prototype PeopleSoft GL, AP, Project Costing and Asset Management at Rouge Steel, the primary tier 1 steel manufacturer and supplier to the Ford Motor Company.

* Led a team of two to design and build a prototype solution-set for the Capital Markets industry as part of a strategic consulting alliance among PwC, PeopleSoft and FTI, a vendor specializing in Securities/Broker-Dealer industry middleware accounting solutions. The prototype integrated FTI's Securities Industry middleware accounting suite with a highly innovative PeopleSoft General Ledger configuration. The solution provided automated accounting throughput, as well as a robust transaction repository linking operational data stores to summary accounting records in a manner that ensured relational integrity.

* Project Office Administrator for JP Morgan's Straight-Through Information (STI) project to reengineer the Global Finance Function across three theaters, the Americas, Europe and Asia. The strategic IT thrust of the project was to build accounting rules engines and related governance into middle-ware environments to achieve automated accounting throughput from the operational systems with summarization to the Corporate General Ledger systems. Data-warehousing projects were to be defined as necessary, building and extending beyond the accounting throughput repository to provide additional data marts in support of operational reporting and decision-making.

* Maintained the annual PeopleSoft Financial Services Practice Business Plan in NY City.

* Configured and demonstrated MultiCurrency GL processing at PeopleSoft's annual user convention.

09/1995 - 9/1997, IBM Global Services, Atlanta, GA

Project Manager

* Managed a team of eight to implement PeopleSoft Project Costing and Asset Management for Host Marriott Corporation, with hotel property assets exceeding $8 Billion. Personally negotiated agreements with Marriott`s CIO to establish capital expenditure interfaces between Marriott Corporation`s hotel property systems and the new Host Marriott systems. The project also enabled the uploading of hotel construction expenditures directly from the construction companies into its new Project Costing application at Host Marriott. These implementations enabled Host Marriott to leverage its independent management and control over capital expenditures, maintenance and assets. The project achieved outstanding client satisfaction ratings based on an independent review, and was nominated by IBM for a national project excellence award.
