Iconic 80-year-old restaurant chain with 400 company and franchised stores in 12 states with over 7,000 employees.
***Executive Vice President, Administration (2009 - 2012)
Promoted with expanded responsibilities overseeing research and development, marketing, human resources, benefits, recruiting and corporate counsel. Provided positive leadership and communication exchange to achieve continuous, improved business performance. Reported to CEO and a lead team participant in selling the company.
Created a successful recession-resistant marketing plan whereby sales and profits were protected. This was accomplished by offering new smaller combo meals priced lower for a great value on a limited time basis that allowed core customers to have a quality lunch for under $4.
Developed menu optimization plan for new and re-engineered products.
Saved the company $500,000 in outside legal fees by hiring the first corporate attorney.
Hired a senior level Human Resource expert who reduced EEOC claims 50%, outside counsel fees 60%, and improved field operations training/education 100%. Successfully rolled out
