Primary Skills/Experience:

I graduated from RN school in 1994 and went straight to work, we moved in the summer of 1996 so my husband could attend Auburn University for Pharmacy school. I left Central Alabama Home Health in 1998 as they were making changes and cutting out personnel, which would include the weekend charge nurse which I was and they put their regular staff on call rotating out. I was not officially "let go" but I proceeded to Lanier in 1998 before those changes occurred. I had many roles within Lanier and consider this my "home". In 2001 my passion for TaeKwonDo and the fact that my husband was a pharmacist, allowed me to only work part time as a nurse in different venues. Since January of 2007 I have owned and operated my own TaeKwonDo Academy for ages 3 and up. This journey began in 2000 and over time went from full-time Nursing to part-time to, since 2007, only instructing TaeKwonDo. I miss nursing and don't want to lose my knowledge and passion for nursing.
