Interiors/Furniture I 2006. Introduce students to design history from ancient Egypt through

Designers 2005. Teaching lighting techniques and terminology to second year students
in the Interior Design program. Introduced new projects focusing on design
and development of luminaires.
Residential Interior Assistant Professor West Virginia University, Interior Design Program, Fall,
Design 2005, 2006. Introduced new projects to focus students on quality of space
versus quantity of space. Introduced NKBA elements and design projects.
Developed project for existing space and actual clients, required field
measuring and drawing of existing plans. Required students to become
familiar with PowerPoint and PhotoShop as presentation tools. Developed as
hybrid internet and traditional course.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE - INDUSTRY
Third Eye Interiors Residential Designer. Private practice in residential design focusing on remodels
and adaptive reuse. Responsible for business and project management,
design, presentation, and implementation.
Landmark Design Design Assistant. Interior design business focusing on residential space planning,
small housing developments, and townhomes. Specialty area: riverfront
properties and zero lot line properties. Responsible for CAD drafting and both
grey-scale and full color renderings.
The Dickerson Exhibit Designer. Designed display pieces, interfaced with artists and agents,
Gallery coordinated shows including: layout, lighting and placement. Responsible for
interior design of gallery, developed gallery from blank retail store unit into a
fully functional show, sales, caf and relaxation area.
EG Carpentry
Interior Design Consultant. Responsible for AutoCAD and hand drafting of
technical, construction drawings. Interface with clients, visual rendition for
workmen of clients wishes.
