Challenge:
Develop national project management standards, implement quality standards, and develop a new customer experience to insure the delivery of the $8.8B initiative Frontier began by purchasing territory from Verizon.
Actions:
Implement multiple strategies across the 14 acquired states. Implement project management methodologies that assisted the entire organization with new project deployments that incorporated our new brand, new products, and new technology. Implement quality assurance standards that met the customer needs while helping to achieve the corporate objectives and goals.
Results:
* Implemented project management standards that insure timely delivery of Frontier products to the customer as premarketing has promised
* Outlined technology strategies for our GMs and Presidents to discuss with the new customers and where our technology takes them with regards to next generation technology.
* In 2010 we penetrated in excess of 300K households with new projects, a new brand and next generation technology.
* This is a three year project which requires we rebrand previous Verizon territory into Frontier and enter new markets that were never offered the Frontier brand

* After the first phase of the project was assigned as Quality Leader for the Broadband Expansion Quality Team which increased my direct responsibility and impact on the quality of our project and its impact on our customer base.
* Implemented Six Sigma and Lean Sigma methodologies to streamline all processes and standardize the integration of former Verizon and Frontier.
* Developed reporting and communication standards for this project which included technical reporting through executive level reporting.

Incorporate new technologies and rebrand 21 separate affiliates under one umbrella. Upgrade and, where necessary, create and develop, sophisticated solutions to improve network security, data management, communications, equipment maintenance, and staff development issues within Sterling Financial Corporation.
Actions:
Obtained qualifications for Black Belt level Certification, Six Sigma. This analytic approach along with Lean Six Sigma was then employed to maximize problem solving efficiency. Applied Proven Program Management Methodology to form a functional interface between IT and other corporate divisions. Rebuilt IT team capabilities through mentoring and training.

* Completed full Software Development Lifecycle for an $8MM project which developed an Enterprise Customer Relationship Management System providing a "SingleView" of our customers using data from our 21 different affiliates comprising over 100 different data feeds.
o Used Oracle Databases to house the mass quantity of data, connect the relationships for a single customer into one primary record, to enhance the customer experience through increased efficiency.
o RUP and Agile were the methodologies used to provide the foundation by which the project would be completed.
o Having 21 affiliates we used a Cross Functional Iterative approach to insure timely delivery of customer requirements, cost control, risk reduction, and a continuous review of scope requirements and change management.
* Led "Speed to Market" loan turn-over initiative; reduced approvals from 14 to 3 days.
* Implemented "Advent" Portfolio Management System incorporating inputs from NYSE, S&P 500, Russell 3000, and Wilshire 5000.
* Used Service Oriented Architecture to develop a project to remove "siloed" applications within the enterprise. Within a 90 day period there was reduction of 150 silos down to approximately 80.
* Implemented Lawson Accounting Modules for corporate finance group
Network Security:
* Incorporated Active Directory security features into a file level Legal Document storage system using a secure Microsoft Server
* Implemented Microsoft Exchange Hosted Services; Secure Socket Layer Encryption.
o Used SSL to send email archives for storage to become SEC 17a-4 & NASD 3010 compliant
* Implemented Two-Factor Authentication across seven different banking platforms
o Used Apache Web Servers and Oracle Databases to complete this project and become FFIEC compliant per government requirements for the banking industry.
* Developed a project to use the Triple DES technology of the Blackberry Enterprise Server and Service Oriented Architecture to develop applications that could be "pushed" to end user.
o Using Java there was development of tools that allowed bank presidents to wirelessly, through one application get their banks financial performance.
o Using the same technology developed tools for Goldmine for sales and relationship managers.

* Implemented a $2.4MM, Multi-State, 86 site Nortel & Cisco VoIP platform.
* Introduced Disaster Recovery and Redundancy features to Network and Phone System.
