* Manage a million dollar year round conference and retreat center. Responsible for building and maintaining budget, facilities, staff and all areas of the operation. Helping to lead the Buildings and Grounds Committee and handling cottage owners as the head of the association (similar to a condo association). Helped to institute new financial policies including a Three Bid Policy for all work done on the property over $300.00, and having the final approval of all bids. Took the organization from near bankruptcy to finishing in the black with all accounts funded in 15 months. Rebranded the organization as well as started Face book pages and a profile. Utilized Constant Contact to drive communication. New website launch. Brought in new concert series to reach lost demographic. Spoke at and represented the organization to several conferences and leadership summits as well as churches. Increased staff performance and customer service standards (noted as town hall meetings as well as performance reviews at Board Meetings). Created an atmosphere of trusting each other and welcoming all ideas from staff. Empowered staff to resolve issues with constituents (Association cottage owners) on their own. Helped to sell eight cottages and bring in new families to the organization.

Store Manager
* Worked to build the company reputation in the communities we operate in. Achieved highest community relations and associate satisfaction scores in the entire Connecticut Sales division (86 stores at the time). Implemented all new branding and facilitated the re-launch of the company values to the associates under my direction. Knowledge of CRM based marketing programs.
* Member of the Cost Reduction Maintenance Task Force. District representative to implement and brainstorm ideas to reduce the maintenance costs throughout the region. After 6 months showed an 80k savings in our region.
* Responsible for total operations of grocery -super stores-. Sales from 33 million to 50 million per year and profit of 6% - 9 % bottom lines. Square footage of 50,000 to 79,000 square feet. Coordinated all contracts for the buildings and was responsible for implementing them.
* Ran positive sales ID`s in the recession by 3%.
* Supervising from 110 - 250 employees including 12 department managers and 3 Assistant Store Managers under my immediate direction. Ran the district training store where I would teach newly assigned managers the entire training program for success.
* District Inventory Shrink Co-ordinator. Ran district programs for 13 stores. Conducted store visits and audits to ensure good retail inventories. Responsible to meet district goal of .54 of sales.
* District M.I.A. coordinator. Responsible for ensuring all 13 stores adhered to company policy referring to days worked and time off. Kept our district ranked #1 or 2 out of 15 districts by visiting stores and ensuring compliance to policies.
* Union contracts, vendor contracts, merchandising, budgets, payroll and productivity. Enforcing and upholding code of ethics, Massachusetts Serv-safe certification for safe food handling, compliance with local, state and US government policies.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Used Excel extensively to create spreadsheets for budgeting and tracking purposes. Used Word to create documents to respond to customer inquiries and letters, proposals and communications to senior management. Have made Power Point presentations for store operations, peers, and groups of up to 1000 people, including use of movies, pictures, and charts in these presentations.

(1986) * Started freshman year at the college and then it closed after first semester. Finished my freshman year at Holyoke Community college while working part time for Stop and Shop. After the second semester finished I was promoted to assistant manager (the youngest in the company`s history at that time) and did not have time to continue with my education.

Westfield Advent Christian Church (2006 - 2010). {Putting together services with Power Point shows, established the first working budget for the church, consultant to the board on operational issues.}
