Thesis/Dissertation

My research goal was to investigate the capabilities of Scanning Electrochemical Microscopy (SECM) techniques coupled with ultra-microelectrode (UME) in the determination of electrochemical properties and reaction kinetics associated with EE reactions. Tetracyanoquinodimethane (TCNQ) and Dihydroxy Anthraquinone were used as the model compounds. The experimental results were analyzed using computer aided simulation carried out with Comsol and Matlab software. Simulation model was constructed and validated for a known sample of Ferrocene methanol.
