As a recent graduate, I want to obtain an entry-level position within a forward-moving environmental or marine science organization requiring strong analytical and organizational skills. Positions that would best suit my experience would be centralized around coastal resource management, marine affairs, fieldwork/data extraction, event planning and or public outreach.
Qualifications:
Appropriate educational credentials 4 years of study in marine sciences, 6 months studying geosciences and botany while conducting research experiments, and 3 months doing extensive fieldwork and research.
Experience in intensive inquiry-based investigations combining field sampling with laboratory measurements of collected samples using modern analytical instrumentation, with analysis and integration of data.
I have continuously demonstrated skills in giving oral presentations, producing written reports, providing quality customer service, and using a variety of technical equipment and computer programs.
Most importantly I possess a strong work ethic, high levels of initiative, critical thinking and problem solving skills.
