These responsibilities have now broadened to include leadership
and management of LSC Experience Services, the science center s
consulting, design, traveling exhibition and program effort for
museums, science centers and cultural institutions. Currently,
Experience Services has active projects or consulting arrangements
in Puerto Rico, Turkey, Manitoba and Saudi Arabia, with contracts
in excess of $550,000. Current traveling exhibitions include Islamic
Science Rediscovered.
As part of $109 million expansion effort completed in July 2007,
responsibilities included management of a $20+ million capital
budget, co-leading the effort with New Jersey s Economic
Development Authority to develop the architectural program and
design for the center s expansion, participation in capital fund
raising, developing a strategic experience master plan, creating an
exhibition department, an exhibition renewal strategy, overseeing
all exhibit content, development, design, evaluation, prototyping,
fabrication, implementation and installation.
