Job description: responsible for developing detailed training plans for a battalion
consisting of 500 soldiers, 33 aircraft, & 80 vehicles.
Coordinated all necessary logistics support, human resource staffing, intelligence
gathering, and information technology for over 35 comprehensive training events.
Ranked 2nd out of 14 captains by the battalion commander.
2005-2008 Platoon Leader (Lieutenant) Fort Drum, NY & Afghanistan
Job description: responsible for the training, combat readiness, morale, and welfare
of 35 soldiers. Accountable for 4 aircraft and 8 vehicles.
Developed a comprehensive flight-scheduling checklist that decreased overbooking,
aircraft downtime, and cancellations. Checklist adopted by 3 other companies.
Coordinated the air/maritime/ground shipment of $50M of maintenance equipment
from Afghanistan to NY, resulting in 100% accountability and zero losses.
Supervised the deployment and safe return of 52 soldiers to Operation Enduring
Freedom in Bagram, Afghanistan.
Personal Real Estate: Purchased a 3-unit apartment building and completed a comprehensive
energy retrofit that lead to a 15% reduction in tenants utility bills.
