Operated crane on a barge. Was in charge of all inspections of crane and all rigging hardware. I was responsbile for a safe and effiecent operations of setting all loads with heavy loads at times. Was to ensure all lift personall was informed of all saftey measures when moving heavy loads. Also operated tug boat when job required. Was also in charge of all decking operations when setting barges in place for job. Was a effiecent operator when working in confined areas with a bridge above lock and dam we was painting the flood gates on.

Tied up barge. Tended dredge for any and all needs to keep dredge pumping. Worked hard and became first mate and was in control of all actions and jobs needing to be done at the night shift. Enginneer on a booster watched and recorded gauge readings on the booster pump. Checked all fluids and watched all gauges on the booster and generator engines. Made all simple and small repairs up to tearing down the engine we called certified mechanics to tear down the motors.
