Hired as a Materials Control Supervisor, challenged to optimize resources and reduce surplus through improved processes and cost control. Managed logistics and compliance, material orders and delivery dates to satisfy all project requirements. Built a cohesive team environment with high productivity and exceptional safety awareness, while improving both inventory and procurement processes with remarkable speed and measurable results. Promoted through four positions within one year to lead material control initiatives including planning, execution and reporting for a $22M inventory and 202 employees with 15.4k lines in 7 regional warehouses throughout Afghanistan.

* Produced $100 million in cost avoidance through the creation and implementation of a new supply chain process that provided first-time visibility of material backlog.
* Provided immediate availability of 1,500 containers that had been stagnant for 3 years, eliminating $58 million in shipping charges by utilizing innovative supply chain processes to align materials on-hand with order history and work with senior teams to promptly allocate existing containers within 6 months.
* Reduced delivery processing costs from $700,000 to $10,000 per day by reengineering processes using the distribution model of Defense Logistics Agency Distribution, six sigma processes and standard commercial practices.
