SELECTED ACCOMPLISHMENTS

Grew sales. Sales at ADE were declining. Identified and worked with independent end users to drive business to approved distributors. Provided samples and made joint calls with distributors` salespeople. Improved distributor relations and increased revenues from $1M to $1.4M in two years. Expanded territory to include NY, NJ and PA.

Turned around under performing branch. Joined struggling Gould sales office. Evaluated territory, and demonstrating sense of urgency, scheduled appointments and requested quotes promptly from suppliers. Identified new customers and built relationships, increasing sales from $2.5M to $6M+ in two years.

Revamped distributor pool, improving sales. Distributors were not motivated. Met with distributors, analyzed data and determined that many were also selling competitor products and undercutting ADE price. Reduced number of approved distributors and worked with remaining on features/benefits of products.

Landed strategic new account. Case New Holland needed replication and packaging of owner`s manual CDs, and needed to reduce costs and turnaround time. Constructed bid, reducing costs by 10% and delivering products in less than five business days. Leveraged $1K contract into $350K in additional business for Gould.

Resolved packaging issues, winning key client. Gould client US Robotics had problem protecting large, heavy electronic enclosure. Designed custom packaging that prevented damage to product and passed ISTA drop test. Earned $500K contract and additional opportunities of $750K in following year.

CAREER HISTORY

Vice President of Sales, PB Packaging Corp., 2008 to Present. Manage all sales and operations for privately held custom packaging company, including new product design, website development and distributions with full P&L responsibilities. Create sales presentations, grow relationships, and improve revenue. Direct $600K budget.

Sales Professional, Stephen Gould Corp., 1993 to 2008. Developed and managed client base for this privately held global distributor of custom manufactured packaging products, printing, and contract manufacturing. Led sales, new product design, QA, supply chain management and logistics. Managed three staff.

Territory Sales Manager, ADE Inc., 1990 to 1993. Increased sales for this $3.6M privately held manufacturer of polyethylene cushioning materials and suspension packaging products. Improved relationships with distributors, grew territory and expanded company`s presence in the marketplace.
