Served in the United States Army, July 1984 - Feb 1992. Attended Primary Leadership Developmental Training, June 1987. Completed a 8 month tour in Honduras, having to travel to remote villages and give medical and pharmaceutical assistance. Worked as a licensed and certified pharmacy technician for the Army, July 1984 - Feb 1992. Was Deployed to Saudi Arabia, Dec 1990 - Aug 1991 to protect and to defend the country of Kuwait, during the Persian Gulf War. For my duty of service I was awarded several medals and Army accommodation medals. In Feb 1992 I was honorably Discharged from the United States Army.

Manage and supervise 4-6 Direct Support Personnel (DSP) with day to day responsibilities, as they pertain to our mental and physical challenged individuals. Responsible for ensuring that all of the DSP's were current and up to date with any and all continuing education. Conducted monthly meetings. Completed monthly schedules, evaluations and training with all DSP's. Worked closely with nurses and doctors for scheduling our individuals for appointments, lab work, diabetic write ups and psychiatric evaluations. Speaking directly with pharmacy staff about the individuals monthly medication therapy.
