Adam serves as the Baker Tilly leader of international services. In this role, he provides
oversight to strengthen our international advisory offerings that helps our clients thrive in
the rapid and constant change of the global economy. With more than 18 years of audit
and advisory experience, working with both domestic and multinational companies, Adam
brings a valuable perspective on international growth and problem solving. He is the
principal liaison connecting our partners with the independent member firms of Baker Tilly
International, the world's eighth largest accountancy and business advisory network.
Facilitating the sharing of knowledge and resources, Adam brings together the power of
the global network to deliver exceptional results to clients.
Adam also serves in the Manufacturing and Distribution Services Group at Baker Tilly.
Besides financial statement audits and audits of employee benefit plans, Adam
specializes in domestic and international mergers and acquisitions, research and
resolution of complex accounting and disclosure issues, and significant project
management of process improvement, business consulting, and strategy development.
Prior to joining Baker Tilly in 2008, Adam spent more than two years in Japan as a
partner with an international accounting firm.
Specific experience
Worked internationally in Osaka, Japan for more than two years, providing technical
guidance for several US GAAP reporting companies including several SEC registrants,
coordinating the international execution of audits and performing extensive international
due diligence in Southeast Asia, China, Europe, Japan, and the US
Provides attest services for public and private companies in various industries, such
as manufacturing, distribution, life sciences, and service
Develops internal control frameworks supporting key business processes for public
companies (Sarbanes environment) and private companies
Performs transaction advisory services throughout the life cycle of a business
transaction, such as pre-acquisition preparation, financial due diligence, and post-
acquisition implementation/integration
Works with international businesses (or companies aspiring to grow internationally) to
ensure global strategies are executed effectively and professional service needs are
delivered seamlessly
