My name is Craig Murison, I recently took a year break away from the fire protection field. I decided to buy a restaurant, and soon came to the realization that restaurant work is not for me. I have worked all aspects of fire protection; from delivery driver up to project manager. I
am open to relocating anywhere, I enjoy relocating to new places as needed. I no longer have any ties that keep me in one place. I have been in the industry for 11 years; I was the only project manager at WSFP that performed everything from job estimating to document close outs. WSFP always had me on the larger fast pace jobs due to my ability to handle stress and always performing the work necessary to meet all deadlines no matter how far behind the project was. I always use 3D design methods, and then use NAVIS for collision checking, to allow for the best design for all trades.
I would be up for a design or field position. The perfect position would be a mix of both positions. This would allow one person to be responsible from the pre-bid meeting to final retention payment! No questions on who to ask which question to, one person throughout the project. This would work great for a small company that is in need to hire, but not quite enough work within a single position.
I would greatly appreciate some of your time to talk or meet for an interview. I feel that with my knowledge in the Sprinkler Industry, I would be a great benefit to you and your team. I am always looking for a new adventure, so if you find something that I am a close fit to and may not be in fire protection I am up for the challenge.

I have been in the fire protection industry for 11 years as a designer and project manager. I have worked on several large projects always finishing them within the schedule and budget. I have had exceptional instructors, through-out my career. I took a two year break trying to make a change in career path; I found that changing what your good at, is not something I want to practice. Stay with what you know and what your good at!
