Relevant Experience

Current employer: White Adjusters 2004 to present.

Position: Senior Claims Adjuster

Property Claims adjuster handling residential and commercial type losses in the North & South Carolina, Georgia, and Virginia territories. This position requires handling and settling property claims from start to finish. Writing property damage estimates, explaining coverages and settlements to our customers. Types of commercial and residential claims handled include: wind, fire, water, liability, theft, vandalism, flood, and hail. During 2005, I worked hurricane Katrina with White Adjusters and handled 450 claims in 90 days. This was a production record with our company. Also I was asked to train several new adjusters starting with the company.

Projust: 2006 aaa 2007

Position: Claims Adjuster

I worked for Projust Claims Service settling claims in Southern Florida. These were disputed claims that were sent to mediation and my job was to complete an estimate of the repairs and then settle the loss with the insuredaaas Public Adjuster and Umpire. These were very difficult wind claims that the original adjuster could not settle and the claim ended up in mediation. I successfully handled many of these mediation claims and I have successfully negotiated with many public adjusters, umpires, and attorneys.

Wardlaw Claims Service: 2002-2004

Position: Property Claims Adjuster aaa Specialty Unit

I worked for Wardlaw Claims Service handling claims from Farmers Insurance Company in Southern California in their specialty claims unit. This position involved handling complex and problem claims from start to finish. Due to the complex nature of these losses, a great deal of investigation and technical expertise was needed for resolution. During my employment with Farmers, I received extensive training and experience negotiating these problem claims

Allstate Insurance Co.: 1999-2002

Position: Senior Claims Adjuster

After working Allstate Claims through Pilot Catastrophe Services, I became very well known by the Allstate Managers. In 1999, I was offered and accepted a position as Senior Claims Adjuster with Allstate Insurance Co. in their main office in Oakbrook, IL. With Allstate, I received extensive training in storm, fire, mold mitigation, theft, and water claims. I assisted in training new adjusters and assisted in quality control re-inspections. I handled a large variety of claims with Allstate and received constant and very valuable training. I negotiated successfully with many contractors, public adjusters, and attorneys.

Pilot Catastrophe Services 1993-1999

Position: Claims Adjuster

With Pilot, I worked many storm claims over a seven year period ranging from flood, wind, hail, earthquake, ice, hurricanes, and fires. I worked in many different states on their disaster team and specialized in claims handled for Allstate. With Pilot, I received ongoing training on roofs, wind, water, fires, mold, flood, and hail claims.

CDS was a Claims Handling Company where I worked as a Claims Adjuster specializing in storm related claims such as hurricane, flood, wind, and hail storms in various states.

National Flood Insurance Program 1982-1987

Position: Flood Claims Adjuster

My first adjusting job started in 1982 with NFIP as a flood adjuster handling residential, mobile homes, and commercial flood losses. During this time, I handled hundreds of flood claims on many different disasters in FL, SC, NC, TX, LA, KY, NJ, VA, CA, NY, and WV. With NFIP, I received extensive and constant training in adjusting and flood regulations.
