EXPERIENCE

Network Engineer II January 2007 - Present

Sprint Nextel, Columbus, Ohio

Design, implement, and manage converged networks for clients of Sprint Nextel`s Managed IP Telephony service. These duties are performed at the Tier III level where the scope is enterprise wide. Daily activities include, but are not limited to; trouble ticket management of enterprise level problems, engineering of IP Telephony solutions, security monitoring and response, documentation of network changes, and implementation of new VOIP services. Commonly interact with senior management and technology staff of customers for all services, providing the best possible experience. The platforms supported are Cisco (virtually all layer 2 and layer 3 devices, and any IP Telephony or VOIP) products as well Nortel (layer 2) products. Frequently provide coaching and mentoring as a senior member of the Managed Voice Services team.
