My Best Friend's Closet Tooele, Utah

In early 2012 my mom and I opened a retail clothing store in Tooele, Utah. Since its beginning I have been responsible for many of the details of the store - including coming up with the name, My Best Friend's Closet! Here is a list of some of my responsibilities:

Advertising & Marketing: Assisted with all marketing including logo selection, newspaper ads, flyers, TV clip, modeling, and Grand Opening event.

Inventory: Order inventory, tag and process clothing and accessories.

Floor Management: Open and close store, including counting cash, opening and closing cash registers, and creating staff assignments. I have received and processed cash and credit payments for in-store purchases and have placed special merchandise orders for customers.

Sales: I listen to my customers needs, share product knowledge with customers while making personal recommendations. I believe that customers come first and give them my undivided attention. I work as a team member to provide the highest level of service to our customers.

Merchandising: I make sure the sales displays are neat, eye-catching and portray the image our store desires. I keep the store clean and realize it's everyone's job to put our business in it's best light.
