Land Man

I worked for Arrington Oil and Gas for a short time in 2008 as a land man, and was an independent contractor based out of Mountain View, Arkansas. As I land man, I was assigned a particular area that the gas company wanted to lease, and I would then go talk to the home owners and get them to sign leases for their mineral rights. I also was in charge of researching the titles for these properties to insure ownership of the mineral rights. I stopped working for this company, because my supervisor was telling the land men one thing and not backing up the promises that we made to the landowners as messages from the company. This in turn, fell back on me, and I had angry landowners contacting me in regards to their contracts not being fulfilled as promised. I will not work for dishonest people.

I was the project manager for this company. We specialized in new home building, design, and property management. I ran all of our subs and crews as well as having input on home design. Richardson's Brentwood Homes was forced to close its in mid 2008 due to the housing market crash.

I worked at this company from 1997 to 2001 during the summers and on weekends, doing odd jobs and keeping up the properties. From 2001 to 2002 I was in charge of running the subs and crews working on the our houses. I left this job to transfer to University of Tennessee Knoxville for school.
