I have owned and run my business out of my home for 10years. I have been grooming since 1994. I had started my business when I had worked at Riverside Veterinary Hospital. I started to have children and found it hard to be a mom, work 40hrs a week as a Vet Tech and also run the grooming business out of the hospital. I then decided to do part time Technician work at Riverside and take my grooming business with me to my house. This worked well cause I could be home with my children and also still do the work I enjoyed at the hospital and groom at home. Slowly I worked out of the Technician work to work out of my home to be able to be home with my kids. My boys are now 16 and 13. I fill in occasionally at Caring Hands Animal Hospital on an as needed basis but am looking to go back to being a Vet Tech on a more regular basis.
