Change management

Since I was a child, I have always been self-motivated to do what i wanna do, which has often landed me in time-outs or a run-in with law-enforcement!

In every job I have ever had, I shrived to maintain focus on my clients, whether it be making sure they need a drink and something to eat, or just a hand with the door. I very much enjoy working with and helping others!

I have a very creative way of problem solving, especially with the help of others and their views of a situation always help me in making the right decision.

I began my work history working for Texas Roadhouse at the age of 16. There I worked as a Servers Assistant, or Busser, while doing this work I quickly accelerated and became a Busser Trainer with one of my best-friends James Carney.

I have also worked in a call center in Pocatello, Convergy's, which taught me several different techniques in managing data. This also assists me in my daily tasks in remaining organized. While working there with the managers and team leaders, they taught me an abundant amount of questions and answers for an analyze and interpret job task. This consisted of answering incoming calls regarding Quest and Dish Network.

While spending most of my time as a teen in the workforce rather than that of a typical teen in school full time, most of my knowledge of how things work come from the fact that I have spent a total of 66 months working in different varieties of careers. I worked for Eagle Rock Construction Incorporated for a 51 month total in my experiences.

I myself an a man of my words!

Reporting

I myself have documented and resolved many of my past experiences with hard work, dedication, and self-motivation to presume a career in helping others, because that is what I have always done, and I very much enjoy what I do best! Therefore it's my belief that i deserve a job working as a Detective or Dispatcher on a team of fellow law-enforcing individuals.

Experience

April 2007 to July 2011

Eagle Rock Timer Inc. Idaho Falls, Idaho

General Laborer for Construction

I first started working for this company after i graduated high school in their cabinet shop known as Great Basin Cabinets. There I learned everything I needed to know in how to build cabinets from start to finish, because I was working under my dad, Clayton Carnahan. My dad was the shop foreman and showed me prior cabinetry work while i was still in high school. i worked with him at another cabinet shop known as Olde Worlde Cabinetry. There was where I learned how to start from fresh mill work and rough cut lumber to begin the basics for customizing a cabinet. From the knowledge i learned there i quickly progressed and learned how to not only build custom work, but basic work as well. the basic work was what i continued to do until worked slowed to a halt in employment. Due to the lack of work in the shop they had to lay me off for a few months, but once work progressed Doug Harmer referred me back to the company to work on the windmill projects, which i was later fired from for false accusations of sleeping on the job with other coworkers. Since my departing, I have had difficulties in finding another full-time job, so now i seek a career in law-enforcing so that i can not only provide for my two amazing children Jaedyn, and Alexys, but the rest of my family and friends as well!

October 2010 to January 2011

Carol's Arctic Circle Shelley, Idaho

Cook/Cashier

At this job I worked for another good friend of mine, Tina Hansen, who taught me hard work and dedication pay off in the long run as long as you remain focus. I had worked with Tina before and got along great both inside and outside of the restaurant. Based on both our experiences, she started me out at an hourly salary of $8.00 an hour. I later quit the job to go back to work with my father at Great Basin Cabinetry, because I needed more money at the time to provide for my family.

January 2010 to March 2010

Eagle Rock Blasting Inc. Idaho Falls, Idaho

Registered Flagger

While working here I was under the supervision of a gentleman named Cody Taylor, a project manager for the company, along with the help of my cousin Chad Wheeler. While working there I was injured in a skateboarding accident a suffered from a torn rotator cuff and was later forced to have surgery to repair my shoulder. I ended up quitting this job to recover from surgery in late April. Upon leaving, I was making a salary of $33.17 hourly, a Davis Bacon wage, and two months of experience.

May 2009 to July 2010

Specialty Construction Supply Idaho Falls, Idaho

Registered Flagger

While seeking a career in construction management, here I consulted a gentleman by the name of Charles Fraga, the Sales/Erosion Control Specialist, seeking employment as a Certified Flagger. My uncles Billy Joe Thomas, David Thomas, and myself worked on the Sunnside Road project, after my uncle Bill and I had received our flaggers certificates. Bill had many months of experience and encouraged me to get my card. It was while I was working there that made me decide to choose a career that i enjoyed. Not only did I completely love the fact I was working with family and friends, I enjoyed the job descriptions that were send my way. So everyday on the job I tried 100 percentage to complete everything asked of not only our manager Charles, but my uncles as well. I was started out at an hourly rate of $8.00 an hour because i had no prior experience, and later quit due to lack of work and poor work ethics that Charles himself had shown us on the job-site.

May 2008 to April 2009

Tap Enterprises Spring Hills, Kansas

Tool Salesman

This was one of my favorite jobs I have endured other than that of my very first job at the Texas Roadhouse. My best-friend James Carney had started working with them first. After about a year under his belt, James called me from one of the sales and told me how much money he was making and how much of the country and diversity of people he had seen. The talk we had really inspired me to do something better, find a career i enjoy. He told me what i needed to do to get started and i did it. I began working there at a salary of $125 a day. After working there for just under a years worth of experience, I was forced to come home from Ann Harbor Michigan, due to lack of work.

Education

2007 Shelley High School Shelley, Idaho

High School Diploma Generals

I first moved to Shelley in 2001 from Arco, Idaho, and from there I finished Junior High at Hobbs Middle School in 2002. When I first started going back to public school I was very skeptical about being there full-time, I hated the fact that I had to spend eight hours of my day learning the basics i needed to become an intelligent working man of society.

I grew up in Arco, a small town just like Shelley, where everybody knew everybody and everybody's business and drama. When I was a young boy there, my dad was convicted of involuntary manslaughter for defending himself and his family. Due to this my sister Amber and I were picked on, so I began hating people for who they were because I felt like I had done something wrong and deserved the way I was mistreated.

Everyday I was bullied until I moved here to Shelley. Once I stopped to look around and meet new friends, I realized we had done nothing at all to deserve the way we were treated by the people of this society, but I hadn't forgotten about my past experiences with the evil people of society. For it was then that I was honestly and truly learning to be a divine person and slowly figured out where I need to go in society.

I want to be the change I wished to see in this world.

I finished High School in 2007 with many different classes under my belt. I had learned reading, writing, and arithmetic to become someone of society. So I began working with my Hero, because he told me when I was just a young boy to follow my heart and nothing else and trust in my mind and know the difference between right and wrong. From then on out I knew that I would have continue to strive to achieve greatness from my loved ones and people of society and that is why I would like to become a law-enforcement officer.

Thank You,

Tyson Alexander Carnahan
