PERSONAL OBJECTIVE
To assist the community in the development of sustainable living systems in
order to reduce our negative impact on the environment and provide our needs
in regenerative way.
QUALIFICATIONS
I have over ten years experience in the field of sustainability and small-scale
farming. I have run a small landscape services company for 8 years, and also
have managed several small farms during that same period.

EMPLOYMENT
1999 to present: Self employed Horticulturalist and Permaculture Designer,
Santa Barbara, Ca. Duties include sustainable landscape design, installation, and
maintenance; including fruit and ornamental tree care, hardscape and irrigation,
and consultation. Also during this time I have overseen the establishment of a
small fruit tree nursery.
October 2006 to March 2007: Manager of Golden Hawk Protea Flower Farm, 47
Hollister Ranch, Gaviota Ca 93117. Duties include coordination of sales,
propagation, fertility management, pruning schedule of flowers and hedgerows.
October 2004 to October 2006: Orchard Manager at La Casa de Maria Retreat
and Conference Center, 888 San Ysidro Lane, Santa Barbara Ca 93108. Duties
include fruit tree care- irrigation, fertilization, pruning, harvesting, processing,
sales, and pest management. Duties also include establishment and sales of
vegetable crops, poultry, and bee products.
January 1999 to January 2001: Property Manager Rancho del Fenix, 10696 Calle
Quebrada, Goleta Ca 93117. Duties include orchard care- fertility management,
irrigation, harvesting, pruning, and pest management.
August 1998 to February 1999: Hydroponic Greenhouse Manager and Dining
Services McMurdo Station, Antarctica. Duties include managing operations for a
small hydroponics greenhouse and kitchen duties.
