I have worked in a nursing home/rehabilitation center for nine months and i will be relocating to albany in a few weeks and i need a new job. I am able to do the following on a daily basis;

Passing of medication

Performing of treatments

Assessments

Initiation of doctors' orders.

Worked with residents in all stages of dementia and Alzheimer's

Shadowed Maternity Director

Worked with high acuity patients with multiple peripheral IVs and PICC lines

Provided basic care needs, ostomy care, wound care/dressing changes, and medication administration including subcutaneous, topical, oral, and IV piggyback

Changed IV bags

Assisted with input and output monitoring, emptying and measuring Foley catheter bags, and use of restraints (quick release tie)

Performed sterile gloving and demonstrated isolation technique

Those are a few of the skills am able to perform.I enjoy working in the nursing field.
