August 2007 to September 2012
Williams Group Lugoff, S.C.
Project Administrator/ Buyout
I handled the administration responsibilities and buyout of multi-million dollar projects. I coordinate the submittals and O&Ms of all the mechanical and plumbing equipment required for the projects per the schedules/details provided on the drawings. I requested pricing from multiple vendors to coordinate the proper pricing for the projects budget and to make sure the equipment could be provided from the vendor as designed. I have worked multiple projects at the same time and held tight to the schedule for equipment purchase and delivery as the projects are built from start to finish. I work hard to see that the projects will be completed with the least amount of problems possible and see the any problems are resolved in a timely manner. I reviewed the drawings and coordinated RFIs for any discrepancies shown to the projects design and to ensure the equipment will be at it's most effective state of use for the application per the project's design/application. I would on occasions have to take a load of duct work/equipment up to our projects in twenty-six foot Penske trucks and deliver to job sites as needed to help with project deadlines.
April 2006 to August 2007
Laserform and Machines Columbia, S.C.
Powder Coating Night Shift Supervisor
I lead two other employees to help with the coordination of cleaning and powder coating the parts that were given to us. I would work in the paint booth and help with the inspection, pressure washing, and wipe down of the parts prior to powder coating and baking. After baking we would remove the parts from the oven, let them cool, check the depth and consistency of the paint, and load on pallets for shipping. I would wrap and forklift the pallets to the shipping area and provide the filled out worksheets/invoices for the painted parts for shipping to coordinate. I made sure that we worked in the safest, cleanest, and most proficient way possible and ensured that we cleaned the work area properly every night, so that day shift could start out with a clean work space.
June 2005 to April 2006
Sam's Club Irmo, S.C.
Cafe/Bakery/ Freezers/Tire Department
I started as a worker in the cafée. I made the pizza's, wraps, hot dogs, pretzels, stocked the freezer in the cafe, cleaned the eating area, made the take home pizzas and worked the register. I ran the cafe by myself many times, but would also work with another employee when the business would pick up. I then moved up to working in the bakery as a baker and freezer stocker. I would pull materials needed from the freezers to keep the bakery stocked with baked goods and restock the bakery freezer from the main freezers when needed. I then had the opportunity to move to the tire department and work there. I did all the tests and training needed to work the equipment and become and certified tire technician. I worked with a group of five other employees and we worked together as a team to enter customers into the system for tire replacement, rotation and balance. I worked the counter to help walk-ins and answer the phones to find customers tires sizes, prices, and availability. I would drive the customers vehicle into the garage and perform the services needed and get them in and out in a time efficient and safe manner. We would sweep and mop the garage every night and put the used disposed tires away in a designated area for pick up.
