I have been a Correctional Officer for three years. My job consist of searching people that come into our facility. I make sure that they have nothing that can be a threat to us or our facility. Once they are booked,I then finger print them and place them in the holding cell until they are seen by the judge. My job also consist of working in the control room at our jail. I make sure all the doors in our facility are secured at all times and monitor the workers that go in and out of the jail. My job also consist of working in the pod at the jail. Its my job to make sure that while I'm working in the pod that the females that are in our population are kept safe and are following the rules so things stay running smoothly.
