DestinationFax, a new Internet fax product running over GTE's secure
Internet protocol (IP) network. Procedural subjects and configuration
definitions include client/server setup, configuring NT Server 3.5,
NetCentric HubServers and POPservers, SQL server 6..5, Abirnet
SessionWall security, SNMP agent monitoring, re-dialers, provisioning,

Richardson, Tx February to April 1998: ATM Product Marketing, support
to senior management, technical writing: Priority, short term project
due to urgent need by MCI national and international account teams for
detail definition of MCI's multi-service ATM offering. Developed a
"mock" response to RFP's (request for proposal) and RFI's (request for
information) as defined by the ATM Forum Workgroup. Subjects include
general instructions to RFP/RFI respondents, hardware considerations
(switching and desktop), software considerations (network management,
signaling, and connection management), routing and traffic handling,
support and training considerations, pricing and distribution, and
differentiating features. Created a PowerPoint 144-slide seminar
entitled, "ATM Integration."
AeroScan, Inc
., Plano, Tx October 1997 to February 1998: Technical
writing, aerial survey photogrammetric engineering: Developed aerial
survey-derived, dimensioned yardage guides of PGA tour golf courses
and other USGA rated tournament courses. Developed specifications and
RFQ's for multi-state horizontal aerial photography and issued PO's
for flights. Developed procedures/work instructions for aerial map
technicians and managed effort for conversion of 9x9 negatives to
digital files, scaling/editing of raster graphics, and
zero-datum/radial grid dimensioning using vector graphics. Performed

Technical writing and Engrg Management Support: Developed
document formats, numbering system, titling practices, change
control/revision process, and database interfaces for
LAN/WAN/telecom/datacom network interoperability test plans,
evaluation reports, lab test standards, and related procedures.
Developed user guides, test plans and evaluation reports for hardware
and software interoperability testing and proof-of-concept testing
over MCI's live backbone. Environments included Ethernet,
ISO-Ethernet, Fast Ethernet, CDDI, Token Ring and FDDI LAN using file
servers such as HP, Sun, Citrix, NT, etc. Products and services for
testing included 800, ATM-DS3, ATM-OC3, Concert and HyperStream Frame
Relay, Switched Access, Remote LAN Dial, internetMCI-T1, internetMCI
Frame Relay, ISDN PRI, SMDS-T1 and Frac T1, Switched 56 and T1, VNET,
xStream25-64, SW Bell's analog, and ISDN BRI. Others included
PBX/ACD/Switches such as Rolm Office Point, Meridian SL1, Aspect,
Intecom E, and Lab Ethernet/TR/FDDI/CDDI, MCITV, SONET OC3/OC12,
ADSL/xDSL. Test plans included graphics illustrating test
environments, Level 1 FR CPE and NNI test suites, pre-test actions,
and test cases. Test objectives included proof-of-concept, service
optimization, software and hardware interoperability and optimization,
and evaluation of latency, throughput, FTP times, and response times
for conducting application sessions at varying port speeds and CIR's.
Test plans described setup and use of W&G DA-30 protocol analyzers,
RTBench, HP PT502's, Fireberds, Sage, Performix, and Adtech delay
injection. Software under test included PeopleSoft, SAP, AutoCad,
Intergraph, Pro-E, LotusNotes, and numerous proprietary apps.
Evaluation reports included an executive summary, Cisco and Bay
Networks router configurations, test results tables, and plotted
graphs of latency and throughput trends vs. port speed/CIR, file size,

for Foxboro PLC and UNIX-based Passport MRP. Extracted requirements
