Line Maintenance Operations LMO is an Aircraft Maintenance computer program designed by Crew Chiefs to run a mtc operation with more efficiency, productivity, documentation and transparency.

The flights are listed on a screen with all the pertinent information. Tasks are automatically generated with ARMS, other task can be manually inputed on a need be basis.

When I arrived at MIA I saw that LMO participation was practically non-existent. On my own initiative I started LMO training for the Crew Chiefs. When the Director of MIA Maintenance saw the use of LMO had gone up dramatically, he asked me to become the LMO trainer for the SE division. I accepted and initially trained all the necessary employees at MIA in the use of LMO.

I was responsible for training all of maintenance; management, Crew Chiefs, and support staff. I also had to train all the operation people in the tower.

After training MIA I was scheduled to go to the outlying stations and the Central & South America to implement LMO.
